Becoming a parent

Being a first-time mum is a rollercoaster of ups and downs, first, you have to come into terms that it is no longer all about you. You now have a tiny little human being to care who requires your full total attention. From the very first cry, feed, sleepless nights, roughs days, smiles and etc.
You name it all… But above all your baby needs your devoted one-on-one attention and love then you realise f***! How did a tiny human being take over your life to the point that you have to admit it and say it out louder I AM GIVING UP 90 % OF MY LIFE On the other side, the flux of hormonal changes, which can impact how you think and feel about everything and suddenly you’re starting to cry all the time at almost everything, even when you’re really happy!
However, you get so much taken out from you; such as socialising with friends and families to the point you feel so isolated. And you can never find the time to do little things such as taking a little long in the shower, having a relaxing bath or even enjoying your food. For instance, lunch or dinner as you may find yourself eating so quickly without you even realising because you’re getting so use to it, and most of the time you’re regularly skipping meals times or instead of eating finger foods. Or even snaking until you practically have to force yourself to sit down and have a proper meal. Luckily, you get so much more reward after spending time with your new bundle of joy who brings light into your life.
